3 Month Update

Three Months

13 lbs

25 in long

Personality

I love how his personality is developing. He is becoming so curious. He's started to notice the TV and people talking around him. He interested in what's going on when he's riding in the car or going for a walk in the stroller. It is so much fun watching his little mind soaking up everything around him.

He is such a content baby and is happy just being at home with his mom and puppies!

Major Milestones

I slept through the night for the first time on April 30th!

I am no longer swaddled since it was becoming more of a danger than a comfort!

I am in 3-6 months clothes, but growing out of them fast.

I smile every morning now, and I love making faces at mommy.

Trying Moment

Naps! Oh how fast things change. This month, he stopped napping totally out of the blue. One day he was a sleepy baby taking three long naps a day, and now we are lucky if he takes one good nap a day! He fights sleep hard unless he's laying down with me. Here's hoping this little phase passes soon.

Favorite Moments

This month was very relaxing. We spent most of our days at home just getting to know each other. I love being able to stay home with Clark and watching how much he changes on a weekly basis.

I love my Luna

We did have lots of firsts this month - his first play dates with Reece, Adelaide, and Selah, his first trip to work picnic which included his first carousel ride, our first date night, our first family date the next night on our six year anniversary, and our first Mother's Day!

Clark, Adelaide, and Reece had a great first play date. Reece is so gentle with the babies, and Clark loves relaxing at the Ambrosetti's house!

Future best friends!

Those "help me" eyes!

Svetlana, Solomon, and Selah came over for Sunday brunch this month. Selah loved meeting Clark. She wanted to give him lots of hugs and kisses, but he mostly wanted to sleep.

We went to Coolidge Park for my spring work picnic. Everyone was excited to meet him, and he did great! He even had his first carousel ride with Madison and Bibi! He was a little unsure, but he didn't cry.

Our first Mother's Day! What a special day! Clark decided he wanted to celebrate during the early morning, so most of the day we were in a tired daze.

Heart-meltingly cute nap photo with dad

Favorite new mug for Mother's Day!

With Love and Ever Expecting,

Ashton
