Stubborn like his momma for sure. He's a great eater but likes to be smushed in order to latch. He also wants his hands in his face and a blanket over his head.

Major Milestone

I've grown out of all my preemie clothes and most of my newborn clothes.

Trying Moment

Overall our first month went really well. One thing we weren't quite prepared for was how much a baby can poop! Even though we changed him 10-15 times a day, he ended up getting a yeast infection. So for about two weeks we bathed his little bottom with each diaper change.

Favorite Moments

My favorite moments this past month were spent enjoying our first few weeks as a family. Robert was able to take four weeks of paternity leave which was truly wonderful. We spent our days watching Clark grow and taking in all the baby snuggles!

Another favorite time this month was taking our newborn pictures. Clark hated having his picture made, but after a couple hours, a quick feeding, multiple diapers, he went back to sleep and we were able to get some shots of just the two of us. As I looked at him, the tears started to come as I again realized he was finally here.
