IVF #1 - Meeting our Embryos

Last Friday was our transfer day! We are officially in PUPO (Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise) status. We transferred two beautiful embryos with the hope that they will grow into healthy babies! It was a day full of joy, happy tears, and lots of praise to the one who made these tiny lives. The Lord has been in every part of our journey and transfer day was no exception. As I was awake early Friday morning, I noticed the verse of the day – Ecclesiastes 11:5.

Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

When I read those words, I was blown away by the power and goodness of Jesus. He knew about our transfer day since before these words in Ecclesiastes were written! He knew the day and the hour we would meet our embryos before Robert and I were even born. How amazing is it, that we serve a God who goes before us? We are truly blessed beyond measure by a loving father who does exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask or think!

We would love your prayers for peace and hope and we wait expectantly during this next few days. We are trusting in God and know He will have all the glory for this IVF cycle no matter the outcome.

Love,

Ashton and Robert

Also - It only seems appropriate that two people that love Mexican food as much as we do, would meet our babies on Cinco de Mayo! We had to celebrate with delicious Mexican food and a siesta!

Ready to meet our embryo babies!
So excited
